Welcome to the A.I.S.J. Middle School!
The Middle School Counselor works with middle school student during these very challenging and developmentally important years. The Middle School counseling center is located in the Middle & High School Administrative building. The counselor is available to students for academic, social and personal counseling. Students are encouraged to visit the counselor for help with academic planning, class scheduling, and personal counseling for any matter of concern.

The Middle School Counselor coordinates the complete A.I.C. program and provides the materials and support for the successful teacher based Advisory program. The counselor coordinates the transition program for grade 5 students preparing to move to the middle school and for grade 8 students moving to the high school. The counselor is also involved in the admissions process for new students. They reviews and evaluates transcripts and interprets placement tests to insure correct placement within the middle school program and makes student schedules.
