The Parent Teacher Student Association of the American International School is an informal group of parents and teachers who make a difference for the students of AISJ. This group was formed in 1989 with the help of a few innovative parents and teachers. At that time the school was under the sponsorship of Saudi Arabian Airlines and the group was given permission to organize events to benefit student learning. Parents and

teachers organized Variety shows, International Culture Sharing Evenings, Bake sales, Bazaars and many other fund-raisers as well. The money raised was used to build the big shaded area and to buy the Ellison Die machine, Multi Media Projector, big screen television, electric binder, laminating machine, and many other things that benefit the students directly. The parents were at the receiving end as well as when they would come to help the teachers, the Ellison Die Machine was a great tool for cutting letters, numbers and shapes.
